Description

$7.5 million refurbishment of Operating Theatres and their support areas.

All works to ensure compliance with Department of Health (DoH) Licencing Accreditation Regulatory Unit (LARU) requirements under the WA Health Facility Guidelines for Engineering Services 2006 (WAHFGES2006).

Changes to storage and functional flow within the Theatre Suite and CSSD to comply with the DoH Private Hospital Guidelines.

Delivery

Project delivery across three individual subsequent stages.

Extensive planning and workshops with key stakeholders to develop approved work and commissioning methodologies for each stage.

Zero Lost Time Injuries or Near Misses for the project duration.

Zero unplanned service interruptions to Hospital Operating Theatre outside of construction zone.

All critical milestones achieved.

Complete all commissioning and validation of Operating Theatres using inhouse Commissioning Department;

  • Pressure gradients,
  • HEPA Filter Validation Testing,
  • Table Height Velocity Tests
  • Air visualisation


Compliance with all finalisation procedures and handover documentation.

LARU verified compliance and witnessing with approval for use issued.
