The works involved the installation of pre-insulated heating and chilled water pipework in the ground to form ring main. We completed all excavation, removal of all existing services and the installation of new chilled and heating water pipework. The pipework was predominately pre-insulated stainless steel pipe with Victaulic joints.

Challenges Faced and Solutions Offered
The project ran for just under 12 months. Throughout the works, a number of variations were added by the client which meant more stress on getting the project completed on time due to the added workload. To deal with this challenge, we organised more time efficient transport to dispatch the required equipment to site and adjusted the program so we could still make the preliminary PC date.
